1. Educational Kits Containing Wooden Panels:

   • Care is taken to ensure that all wooden panels are in good order before shipping. Refunds and returns are not accepted if the panels are broken during assembly. Please ensure that the projects are undertaken under adult supervision and assembled according to the assembly guide provided.

2. Returns for Defective or Incorrect Items:

   • If your products arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll arrange a free return and provide a replacement or full refund (including shipping costs).

   • Please include photos of the issue and your order number when contacting us.

3. Return Process:

   • Email us at solarplaylab@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.

   • We’ll provide a return authorization and instructions for shipping the item back to our Gauteng facility.

   • For non-defective returns, customers are responsible for return shipping.

   • Items must be returned in original packaging containing all components.

4. Refunds:

   • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

   • Original shipping costs are non-refundable for non-defective returns, per CPA guidelines.

5. Non-Returnable Items:

   • Custom orders or modified kits (e.g., personalized components) are non-returnable unless defective.

   • Items damaged due to improper handling or assembly are not eligible for return.

6. 7-Day Cooling-Off Period:

   • Under the South African Consumer Protection Act, you may return your purchase within 7 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping costs) if the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received. Shipping the product is for your cost.
